Inspiring PMP Success Story of Yogesh

     4386 views

Introduction:

Hello, I am Yogesh, I was working as a Senior Network Engineer before enrolling for a course. Currently, working as a Project Lead in MNC.

I took my First Batch: February 2020 (before lockdown) Classroom training at Mumbai. It was a Refresher Batch: March 2021 (Online) and I cleared my exam on 6th December 2021

Mandatory 35 PDU training for PMP®:  To attempt the examination, one must demonstrate knowledge of all the areas in the PMBOK (Book of knowledge) so a professional course that would earn the candidate 35 PDU (Professional Development Units) is a must. I chose ProThoughts for this training and their content and educators are top notch and helped to navigate this step of the PMP® journey. The instructors (Ashish Sadekar) are quite knowledgeable, patient, and willing to help the candidate traverse the challenging path of PMP® certification.

PMP Application: I prepared my application as per the format provided by the Prothoughts and applied.

The Day Before the Exam:

A day before the exam, I would recommend the aspirants to thoroughly go through the online examination prep tips and instruction, which will be provided by the Pearson VUE after booking the exam slot. Remember, do not over do the mocks. For this day, cover only the key areas that you find difficulty understanding.

A feeling of nervousness and fear was always there but somehow managed to overcome this

ProThoughts :

ProThoughts and their support throughout was always a part of my success. Their experienced trainers and material provided by them were so useful for me. The Mock tests provided by them were very helpful as a practice test. It helped me build confidence for the PMP exam. An experienced trainer like Ashish Sir is always the cherry on the cake. His interactive way of teaching helped us understand the concepts in a very easy way. His positive attitude, clearing all doubts and conducting interactive rather boring lectures helped a lot.

Self Confidence and hard work is always fruitful. I had plans of studying 1 to 2 hours a day and adding on hours on the weekends. Handling office work and studies was difficult but as I mentioned hard work helped me gain this certification.

About PMP: This Course is designed in a very unique way to help the project managers grow and know more about the work they are in. PMP certification will help you learn so many things and sharpen your professional career.
