Here’s PMP Success Story By Prashant Kamble
Prashant Kamble successfully earned his PMP certification while working full-time as a senior DevOps engineer with BMC Helix. His journey shows how consistent preparation and structured guidance can help professionals achieve certification alongside demanding careers.
My Background in DevOps
My professional background is in DevOps, with experience across OpenShift, Kubernetes, Terraform, infrastructure modernization, AI-enabled DevOps, and public cloud.
While working full-time as a Senior DevOps Engineer, I decided to pursue the PMP certification to strengthen my project leadership capabilities.
Preparing Alongside a Full-Time Role
Most of my PMP preparation happened around my work schedule. I studied during whatever hours were left after a full workday, rather than when I was fresh.
There were sessions I did not feel like starting. I started them anyway.
Staying consistent with my preparation helped me keep moving toward the exam despite the demands of my full-time role.
Guidance From ProThoughts
I am grateful to ProThoughts Solutions and Ashutosh Bhatawadekar for the structured training and professional guidance throughout my PMP preparation.
Their support helped me stay focused and become exam-ready while balancing my professional responsibilities.
Achieving Two Certifications in One Month
My PMP achievement came shortly after another milestone. I cleared my OpenShift certification from Red Hat the previous month.
Earning two certifications less than a month apart, while working full-time, is something I am proud of.
The two certifications represent different areas of my professional growth. OpenShift strengthens my infrastructure expertise, while PMP adds a globally recognized project leadership credential from the Project Management Institute.
I am grateful to ProThoughts Solutions for being part of this journey.
