PMP Success Story by Neha Jain

Brief Introduction:

I am Neha Jain, a design professional who has been working in the construction industry for 15 years. I have worked with multinational companies in my entire career journey till date. A few companies with whom I have been associated are Bridgestone India Pvt. Ltd, Bank of India, Rajasthan Patrika, Fabindia Overseas Pvt. Ltd., Lakme Lever Pvt. Ltd and many more. In all such companies, the title I was carrying was assistant project manager, where I was dealing with multiple projects. Holding this title for so long made me think about doing the specialisation in the Project Management field. I wanted to get in-depth knowledge of the subject and thought to dive more but I found it’s an ocean where PMP certification is high in demand and so I started approaching people for the same. Through Linkedin, I got connected with the ProThoughts team and I got what I wanted. They helped me to cross this ocean in a smooth way.

The Journey:

I approached them in the month of September 2020 which helped me to earn my PDUs as required in the course. During the entire 9 days session Mr. Saurabh Parikh, a well cultivated trainer, who has helped me to learn and gain knowledge about the course. His approach has made the study easy. I have followed the study plan given by ProThoughts and started to plan my day accordingly.

The well trained team of ProThoughts approached me for ProMock’s, which busted little energy and gave light to the path towards PMP. The course format was completely changed, and the new agile approach was added to the course. But the ProThoughts team helped me out to shape the structure well. I revised the full course again through Rita Mulchay’s book and the materials provided by ProThoughts. The mind maps and the scratch cards helped in learning in note form. I made my schedule to study 4 hours daily. I made my handwritten notes and used to revise daily whatever had been written. In a month I finished Rita’s book and started giving the ProMock’s, where I found myself to be scoring very low which shattered my confidence. But the explanations given in the ProMocks were fantastic. I started reading all the explanations given in the mock tests. This approach helped me to know where I am lagging. I concentrated on those topics where I was feeling disappointed. And the day came when I sat for the exam. It was 14th Oct 2021, I gave the exam with complete faith in my studies, and the result made me extremely happy. I scored above the target. After 2 months of study, I was feeling on top of the world to be known as a world recognized certified project manager.

Conclusion:

The course is finely structured which will carve your future. The approach used in PMP certification is extremely per new market trends and beyond the imagination. This course will definitely help you to follow a process that will smoothen the project’s life cycle in the real world. Just what is required is your patients, your concentration and time management. We all know that everyone is so busy with their professional and personal commitments. Still, learning has to go side by side and for the same ProThoughts are the best trainers and teams who will help you to clear this journey and make you a certified Project Manager.

I thank Mr. Saurabh Parikh for all his mentorship and Mr. Het shah for coordinating each and every little detail I needed to be certified. Thank you so much team ProThoughts, you guys rocked.
