Achievement & Milestone

Yes. I did it. I got my PgMP certificate in December 2025, still in time for my overall annual goals. 🙂

The Decision Moment

It was a late decision to schedule the exam at that time, and I have my colleague to thank, as she recognised that unless I made the slot booking, I may not move forward with it, and it also meant I would leave out some flexibility and prepare for the day with utmost attention.

Looking Back – Where It Started

Anyways I am getting ahead of myself. So let me back up by a few months and start the story with the pre-training discussion with Ashish from ProThoughts Solutions. Ashish gave a very good introduction to what lay ahead with the PgMP exam itself, and laid out in detail what pro-thoughts offered as part of the training. Not only were the contact classes that could be scheduled according to our convenience as a batch, but also, further mock exams were available and cheat sheets for last-minute preparation, which were very helpful.

Training Experience

During the course, Ashish takes you through material that is directly related to the PgMP guide but also relevant parts that are not explicitly mentioned in the guide.

The Critical Step – Panel Review

The most important part of PgMP certification is not just the exam, but getting your application and experience through a panel review, which validates that you have the needed work experience and skills to be eligible to take the exam. It is here that Ashish’s and the team’s experience in guiding candidates through their application really stands out in my opinion. Ashish was patient and gentle in giving necessary feedback to polish the applications to pass the panel review, for which I am extremely grateful.

Final Thoughts

Overall, the PgMP exam is one of the toughest I have undertaken and getting enrolled with ProThoughts solutions was one of the best decisions that I have made.
